Diana is leading IURIS Business Solutions at IURIS Malta. Her focus lies predominantly in providing innovative business advisory solutions and training services. She holds an Associate Degree in Management, a B.A (Hons) in European Studies and a Master of Arts in Humanitarian Action. She is also a registered PRINCE2 Practitioner with APMG. Diana has over twelve years work experience in initiating and delivering sustainable results and effective change for Government, Businesses and NGOs across various sectors including business and organisational management, retaining and inspiring talent, innovation management, project management, training, research and innovation, as well as policy development. Diana was Malta’s Programme Committee Member and National Contact Point for EU Funds for Research and Innovation at EU Level for various sectors. Diana also worked on coaching and training both national and international clients with their Research & Innovation Proposals for Funding, to help them develop their ideas into concrete winning Projects as well as enable them to team up with key international experts FP7 and Horizon 2020 Funding Programmes. Diana also Project managed a number of National and EU Funded Projects by INTERREG Italia – Malta, Horizon 2020, FP7, and the Technology Development Programme, the latest being on Social Innovation – the Project ENISIE. Diana has also held a number of stakeholder meetings in various sectors especially in her role for Strategy of Funding Programmes within FP7 and HORIZON 2020 - thus enabling Public, Private, Academic and European relations to secure engagement for collaboration, while also assisting individual researchers and entities to network and partner up to better their expertise and collaborate with others in Europe and beyond. Diana has conducted a number of trainings both locally and abroad, related to coaching ideas from innovation to market given her experience with managing national, regional and EU funding programmes and acting as managing authority for four funding programmes on a national level. She has also held training workshops on proposal writing, evaluation, reporting and financials for local and EU funds, thus ensuring that clients can truly master the innovation cycle to deliver innovation driven ideas to market. Diana’s areas of expertise include EU Affairs, Coaching and Mentoring Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Start-ups, EU Projects and Programmes, Innovation Management, National and EU Policy, Government Policies & Procedures, Project Management, Humanitarian Affairs, Crisis Management, Training and Coaching, Research and Innovation Policy and Funding Mechanisms. Diana is also a member of the Women in Management Committee at the Malta Institute of Management.
